REGISTER NOW for A Conversation with Nancy Hollander About The New Film, The Mauritanian
It has been a long and lonely year so come spend some time with your NCDC Family!
On March 8th, from 5:00-6:30 PM (EST), come and participate with us in a conversation with NCDC Founding Faculty Member and long-time NCDC Board Member Nancy Hollander about the new film, The Mauritanian. Nancy Hollander has an international reputation as an amazing and dedicated criminal defense attorney and, to us, is a true superhero. She had the privilege of representing Mohamedou Ould Slahi who was held at Guantanamo Bay by the U.S. government from 2002 to 2016 without charges ever being filed. The movie, The Mauritanian (based on his book, Guantanamo Diary, that he wrote while in detention) chronicles his experience as a detainee and Nancy Hollander’s fight to free him. The film is truly inspirational.
Nancy has agreed to sit down for a conversation with all of you about the film via Zoom on March 8, 2021, from 5:00 -6:30 PM. The film will be available on-demand everywhere on March 2nd so you can watch it before you come!! Don’t miss this great event.
