Bonnie spent 15 years working as a public defender in the Lexington DPA trial office. In 2020, she transitioned to a position as an attorney in the DPA Capital Trials East office where she primarily handles capital eligible cases. She has extensive experience with jury trials and her most recent victories include acquittals on two separate murder cases. She has been married to her wonderful husband for 20 years and they live a crazy busy life in Lexington, KY with two daughters, two dogs and three cats.
