The National Criminal Defense College’s Deryl Dantzler Trial Practice Institute is the original, transformative, two-week trial skills program designed exclusively for criminal defense practitioners. In place for over 35 years, NCDC is proud to call over nine thousand criminal defense attorneys its alumni. Each summer, the Deryl Dantzler Trial Practice Institute will welcome 256 practicing attorneys as attendees, and over 80 of NCDC’s elite renowned faculty, for two 2 week-sessions of intensive and in depth trial skills training.
As a sponsor of the Institute, your information will be prominently displayed to our attendees consisting of public, private, federal, and military defenders from all over the United States and beyond. Sponsorship Levels
Coffee Break
$1,500 per coffee break
It takes a lot of coffee (and sweets and treats!) to keep us fueled for the long days of hard work at DDTPI. Your name and logo will be displayed during your sponsored coffee break.
Program Bag
$3,500
When all program participants and faculty members receive their materials in the program bag, your logo will be displayed prominently on one side. (Limited to five sponsors.) In addtion, any program bag sponsors will have use of an exhibiton/display table during registration on opening day of the session.
African American Lawyers Dinner
$3,000
We have a proud tradition of hosting a private dinner each session during the Deryl Dantzler Trial Practice Institute for the black participants and faculty members to gather together in an affinity space to break bread, to share journeys, and to support each other in common struggles and victories. As a sponsor, your name and logo will be displayed on the invitations and announcements leading up to the dinner and at the dinner itself.
Lawyers of Color Dinner
$4,000
Each session, between 30-40% of our participants identify as lawyers of color. Gathering together for dinner each session is an important way to foster connections while at the Institute. As a sponsor, your name and logo will be displayed on the invitations and announcements leading up to the dinner and at the dinner itself.
Welcome Dinner
$5,000
The welcome dinner held the first night of the institute is attended by everyone (participants and faculty). It is a memorable occasion as it is the first time that our small groups will meet each other. As a sponsor of the dinner, you will get recognized in the program opening and your logo will be displayed during the dinner.
Graduation Party
$5,000
We end each session with a graduation celebration dinner and party complete with skits and dancing! As a sponsor of the event, your logo will be highlighted in the daily announcements and displayed during the event.
DDTPI Partner
$20,000
As a partner level sponsor, your logo will be placed alongside ours on the Deryl Dantzler Trial Practice Institute banner. In addition, we will display your logo and information on all intro/announcement slides during the plenary sessions.
