Biography
Daniel graduated from Michigan Law in 2015 and began his career as a state public defender with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, Inc., in Texas’s Rio Grande Valley. After two years, Daniel joined the Federal Defender’s Office in Brownsville, Texas. Since late-2019, Daniel has worked as an Assistant Federal Defender for the Eastern District of Michigan in Detroit.

Biography
Juliana DeVries is a criminal defense and appellate attorney licensed in DC and California. She previously served as an Appellate Assistant Federal Public Defender in San Francisco and taught at the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic at UC Berkeley School of Law. She clerked for Justice Leondra Kruger on the California Supreme Court and for Judge Alex Kozinski on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
